THE ULTIMATE GUIDE TO DEAL WITH PROCRASTINATION

Hi guys, i know i haven't really been consistent here but i promise that's going to change.



So today am going to be talking about how to deal with procrastination. You see procrastination is something i have struggled a lot with and i still do, it's not easy to get rid of at once it will take a while for you to break free from it's grip. But am going to be sharing with you some of the things i do that helps me and am sure it's going to be of help to you.

1. MAKE A TO DO LIST :- Start by planning your day in advance. grab a pen and a sheet of paper and make a list of everything you have to do in the next 24 hours, add to your list as new items comes up. Remember to lay it out by priority; what is most important; what has to be done first; what comes second and so forth.


2. APPLY THE 80/20 RULE (20 is the top,80 is the bottom) :- Make a list of all the key goals,activities and responsibilities you need to take care of. Which of them are in the top 20 percent and then work on the one's in the top 20 first then you do the rest later. But first do the important one's you kept in the top 20 list.


3. ANY.DO AND REVIVAL :- If you're always on your phone then i think this is going to be the best one for you. You just need to download one of this app (Any.do / Revival)  and plan your day with it. it will remind you once it is time for the task or event you set.

4. GIVE YOURSELF A DEADLINE :- When there's no deadline there's no sense of urgency but once you realise that there's a deadline you do it fast, if you need accountability, tell someone else your deadline and ask them to hold you to it.
